Comments about Osprey Stratos 36 Daypack: I bought my husband this as a Christmas gift. I'm an inexperienced hiker but he is quite the adventurer and outdoorsman. He was very impressed with this pack. The mesh lining on the back keeps him cool by allowing air flow. He also likes that there are many space saving compartments which allow for minimalist gear. One of the neatest things was the rain protector. I'm going on my first day hike soon and we are planning on buying the women's counterpart to this pack for me. Great item at a great price!

Comments about Osprey Stratos 36 Daypack: For a bag this size, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is. Comfort and the Iron Clad Warranty were the key reasons I decided to go with this bag. I used this bag for a recent trip to China, where I stored my laptop, hand-held radio, other electronics, and couple bottles of H20. The bag went with me wherever I went. It may have been a bit too bulky at times, especially when walking through a crowded market, but this is the largest backpack I ever owned, and I am slowly getting accustomed to it. I've owned many packs, but this is my first Osprey bag and I can't see myself going to any other brand anytime soon.

Comments about Osprey Stratos 36 Daypack: I have used this pack a few times now and am impressed with its light weight and how comfortable it is. There are plenty of places to stow things and the ventilated design also helps to keep the sweat away from my back. I'll be giving it some more demanding workouts in the next few months but so far, so good.

Comments about Osprey Stratos 36 Daypack: Just went on a day-long trek up in the mountains with this pack fully loaded with food, clothing & lots of water (wanted to see how the pack felt with a lot of weight in it) - was surprised it still felt reasonably light and comfortable. Great straps & hipbelt (with nice zippered storage). The Airspeed frame / mesh back support is excellent, very comfortable & allows great airflow so your back doesn't get sweaty and soaked. Curve of the frame makes the pack look bigger than it is (36L). Best daypack I've ever used. Recommend getting the Osprey HydraForm no-sag Hydration pack - there's a pocket inside the Stratos & a hole thru which to run the tube. Great combo.

Comments about Osprey Stratos 36 Daypack: First, Osprey makes a great pack and they really walk the walk when it comes to replacement parts for life. I've had my Stratos 36 for about a year now and have put it through it's paces. You can run this pack through any type of situation and it's going to handle it. The only wear and tear has been on a couple of snap buckles and both of those where my fault and Osprey replaced them immediately with no questions asked.
