I had been looking for a simplistic, weather proof map carrier/protector to use while trail riding on horseback. This is made of sturdy materials and a good sized map slips in easily. I like the roll up feature and it also had a loop which I use to clip conveniently to the front of my saddle. When we come to an intersection, this is quick and easy to unroll, look at the map without it getting wet, roll it back up and continue on the ride. No more digging in pockets or saddle bags for the map. This has been great.
