Comments about Snow Peak Trek 700 Titanium Cookset:

Fantastic, the only complaint I have is that the lid seems to be stainless instead of titanium. The lid feels as heavy as the pot, still a light weight package. Mesh bag is nice. The Snow Peak Giga Power stove and a small fuel canister will fit in it. The Snow Peak spoon handle will fit into the drain hole.

Comments about Snow Peak Trek 700 Titanium Cookset:

Bought this to use on backpacking trips with a homeade alcohol stove. Tried it out on a two night trip with my wife. Each night we boiled water for our boil in the bag meals. In the morning we boiled water for oatmeal and coffee. Had as fast a boil time as any pot I have used. Was very lightweight compact and durable! Perfect for a solo backpacker or close couple who share meals!!

This is perfect for my needs. Wanted a cup to fit a 1L bottle inside a 10x4 bottle holder. I placed som survival items in the bottom of the bag, popped the lid from the Trek 700 and placed over the items in the bag upside down then the cup on top.

A Snow Peak isobutane cartridge would fit in the 700 Trek kit. I would use a pot gripper if you were using this directly on a stove due to the heat conducting into the cup that could burn your hand if you grasped it.

                            A:

The Dragonfly stove would not fit inside this cookset. Since the dragon fly stove is a liquid fuels stove, you would not want to pack the stove in a cookset, because of liquid fuel leakage into the cookset. The best way to maximize a cookset packing potential is to use it as a food storage container.

I've heard that, though the pot itself is titanium, the lid is not. Is the lid stainless steel or aluminum? Thanks!
