Comments about Dr. Shade Dr Shade Sun Glove with Polyurethane Palm: I use these gloves when hiking and boating, and for rafting trips. I did a lot of research on UV gloves, and these are highly rated. I like the tip of my fingers exposed for better grasping of objects. Fast drying. Pros

Comments about Dr. Shade Dr Shade Sun Glove with Polyurethane Palm: My father owns a farm and is always working outside. A few years ago, he started to complain about the skin on the back of his hands becoming very dry and itchy. It's not easy to keep sunscreen on your hands on a farm, so I started looking for some work gloves that would not get in the way. These fit the bill perfectly! His fingers are free for working with tools, the backs of his hands are protected from the sun and his palms are protected by the polyurethane. I have purchased four pairs over about three years, and they last through several washings and some pretty tough use. I highly recommend these gloves for anyone who works outdoors and wants that extra bit of sun protection. Comments about Dr. Shade Dr Shade Sun Glove with Polyurethane Palm: I use such gloves while fishing. Can't use these. The palm material shredded after 2 hours of us. Comments about Dr. Shade Dr Shade Sun Glove with Polyurethane Palm: Use for biking. Very lightweight and cool. Generous coverage both cuffs and fingers. Fingers longer than similar Warmers brand Pros

Comments about Dr. Shade Dr Shade Sun Glove with Polyurethane Palm: Used for trap shooting, great for non-slip grip and keeping sweaty hands off gun barrels and receivers. Comments about Dr. Shade Dr Shade Sun Glove with Polyurethane Palm: These are great paddling gloves for warm weather. They are comfortable and protect your hands from the sun. I just bought a new pair to replace ones I have worn for about 3 years. The stitching came apart on the old ones - that is why I didn't give 5 stars. Pros

Comments about Dr. Shade Dr Shade Sun Glove with Polyurethane Palm: I have used this and several other models of Glacier Glove's Sun Glove. I have no pigment in my hands from the Gulf War and these gloves shield my otherwise unprotected skin from the Sun and provide a UPF 50-level of protection and are cool and lightweight at the same time. With this model, Glacier Glove has made a durable synthetic palm (unlike some of their earlier models, which fell apart with use). The only problem with these is they don't anchor the stitches at the finger ends, and so the fingers tend to come apart with use. If you carry a needle and thread you can remedy this issue... [...] Displaying reviews 1-9 |

Q:
I'm buying these for a man, but not sure what size to get. He's about 5 feet 11 and a trim build. There was nothing about whether these were for men and women or about sizing.1 answer
A:
These are a men's glove. So order the size of glove he normally wears. If you are a woman you would want to size down.
