I'm a Cascade Designs fan, so I'll try most of what they make. And the Camelbak insulated hose works great, but you can't transfer the insulation from one pack to another. So I bought the Platy one--and promptly returned it. It was almost big enough to be a garden hose! And, unlike the Camelbak one, it was not flocked--which means the neoprene would stick to your sticky sweaty skin in my humid climate. No thanks. Back to the drawing board on this one, Cascade.

I bought this just before going hike in below freezing weather. I spent several hours trying to get it on the tube. I could not get it more than half way on. I finally gave up. I ended up sticking the tube of my hydration pack inside my coat-it kept freezing up otherwise.

If there is a trick to getting this on-they need to include it in the packaging.
