Comments about Campmor Thermarest Backpacker 3/4 Self Inflating Sleeping Pad:

When I threw my back out several years ago, my camping days became less enjoyable. I have been looking for a comfortable mat ever since, but I do not want an inflatable air mattress that takes up tons of room in the car. This seemed a practical solution. When paired with another mat (foam core style), I slept well and felt supported. These are much shorter than I am, but I like the support on my hips and back so they were perfectly placed in that area. My husband slept with this mat alone and did not have any complaints.

The first time out of the wrapper, these needed some prodding with additional inflation provided by my lungs, but it was minimal and not overly taxing.

Comments about Campmor Thermarest Backpacker 3/4 Self Inflating Sleeping Pad:

This pad is nice an light and does what its suppose to do. When I first got the pad I unrolled it an opened the valve and it didn't inflate like its should, but with a few small puffs of air I got it close to its max inflation and closed the air valve and left it inflated for approx. 24hours. After that it has worked the way it should.

Comments about Campmor Thermarest Backpacker 3/4 Self Inflating Sleeping Pad:

Bought one for the wife and one for myself. Helped keep us warm and comfy when temps dipped into the lower 20's on our backpack trip on Yellowstone's Heart Lake Trail. We pitched out tent on a slightly sloped spot at one of our backcountry campsites and found ourselves slipping a bit. The sleeping pads held up very well and should last a long time.

Comments about Campmor Thermarest Backpacker 3/4 Self Inflating Sleeping Pad:

We purchased this product before our recent camping trip. What a difference. I had previously been using a foam pad but it was not as comfortable as this. For first time use, we unpacked right away, allowed to self inflate, then inflated the rest before bed. It is not an air mattress but provided ample cushion on a rocky ground. I wish it was a little longer but overall it's a great product.

The Thermarest 3/4 Self Inflating Pad does not require a stuff sack, it can be rolled up and secured with sleeping bag straps or velcro straps...If you want to use a stuff sack, the recommend Thermarest stuff sack is the Thermarest Trail Lite...item no. 47731.
