This repair kit was perfect for repairing a broken tent pole that resulted from an accidental fall into my tent (use your own imagination). It was easy to use and had good instructions.

As I replaced it, and the shock cord (10 y.o. tent!), I realized the ferrules for two other poles were slightly bent, and replaced those sections also. Nice to have a virtually new tent for very few bucks. The threader works well, and the amount of shock cord is completely sufficient.

We do not carry replacement poles, only these fiberglass repair kits which will replace segments of a pole, along with shockcording. The kit comes with instructions on how to replace a section of a pole. These kits do not provide enough fiberglass segments to create an entire pole.Answered on 8/1/2012 by Betty

If the inner diameter of the steel ferrule is 1/2 inch. The Eureka Fiberglass Repair and Replacement Pole kit 12.5mm diameter would be the correct kit. You can cut the fiberglass pole to the proper length with a fine tooth saw.Answered on 6/21/2011 by Bob from Campmor
