Ok, so that is not that common? Kept me off of Rainier with the 70 mph winds. Nothing like a wet pack on a summit. Internal garbage bag kept gear dry. The design on this needs to change to close like a garbage bag.

I like the idea of a siliconized rain cover for its durability & waterproofness. Am looking for something for a normal size daypack ~ 2700 cu. in.(North Face Borealis). This sounds large for that size pack. Is Campmor doing anything with the mfr. to address the fit issues referred to in other letters? Is there a smaller siliconized cover available? This one is too big for a 2700 cu inch pack. You may want to look at the Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Cordura Pack Cover in XS. It is a sil pack cover as well but available in a smaller size for your pack.
