In the category of 50' sea kayaking tow systems, this is the best I have used or seen. Most systems of this type are of the roll-up burrito bag design, but Seals exceeds other manufacturers' design in several ways:
1. the only metal used is the drain grommet (all metal corrodes in saltwater).
2. heavy duty plastic caribiner.
3. float (even with floating line you need a float on the carabiner end).
4. sturdy and wide quick release belt with a carabiner attachment for easy access.
5. very well made bag with reflective tape.
6. made in the USA.
7. the anchor point in the bag is accessible without removing all the line and it is large enough to attach a 'biner to alter the length of the tow line (this versatility is critical for group leadership, you need varying tow lengths for different conditions).
8. the shock absorber is the best one on any 50' tow system, it is 1/4" bungee inside of tubular webbing.
9. it is the least expensive 50 footer of this quality that I have seen.
