Comments about Lone Peak Expandable Rack Pack: We have an earlier version of this bag. Ordered another to match the color of our new bike. It's a little taller than the older model, so it's a little less sleek...but, hey -- it's a rack bag, so what can you expect? Plus, we're using it on a 10-foot long recumbent tandem, so it's not like we're trying to optimize our racing weight. Lots of storage, even without using the expansion capability. The only disappointment was that the earlier model has a loop on the rear that accommodates a taillight, and this one doesn't. Fortunately, our rack does, so it's not a problem for us.

Rain will leak through the zipper and stitching. The material is water proof coated nylon

My Summit Bicycle Products bike rack has very little clearance between the rack and the back tire making it very difficult to run the velcro connecting straps on the bag around the the rack to connect it. The pack secures with 4 Velcro tabs on each corner of the pack. They would secure around the corners of the rack securing back onto the pack.Answered on 7/21/2010 by Steve from Campmor
