Gore Bike Wear makes excellent products. Often I have to order a little larger size with Gore products, but they work very well. This jacket is windproof and waterproof, so it can get a little steamy inside when you ride with it. I only use it on very cold, below 30 degrees F, or wet days or on a long decent in the winter. I live in Colorado, so the decents can be brutal in the winter time. This jacket works well.

I use the jacket to bike to and from work 4 to 5 days a week in the pacific northwest. i previously had a dark-colored nylon thing that just draped soaking to me when it rained, so this is a big upgrade.

Good:
1. i bought (but did not keep) the Gore fusion gt as at a competitor. even on sale there, i was able to get this path jacket at almost half the price of that at Campmor.
2. it is waterproof and for the most part windproof (see below).
3. it's a nice bright yellow and beats any other bright yellow jacket i could find out there in waterproofness and breathability, at a knockout price on Campmor.
4. it was delivered very quickly from Campmor, with free shipping.

bad:
1. i am 6' 3" and about 190 pounds. the sleeves are just a *touch* short when i'm up on my bike. just a touch. my gloves will cover them, but still just short enough to be slightly bothersome. having said that, i looked around some big outdoor retailers and cannot find anyone who makes a cycling jacket in tall size, so this is going to be the case for anything out there as far as i can tell.
2. the elastic/velcro at the wrists is just okay, it actually lets quite a bit of wind in and up the sleeves when you're not wearing gloves.
3. unlike the gore fusion gt as, no hood comes with the jacket. there is a gore paclite hood available at many vendors for about $50 which i do not have at this point.
4. the jacket could use more reflectives. the fusion gt as has more and broader reflective stripes.

worth noting perhaps:
1. the fit seems the same as for the fusion gt as. the fabric of the fusion seems a bit more breathable/less sticky when trying on at home. i did not wear the fusion outside or during activity. the paclite has a bit more of a raincoat/plastic bag feel to the touch indoors BUT during exercise is actually very breathable and performs better than it looks like it will.

all in all, it is a decent jacket at a great price. i could not find a better one including trying on several at different price points at a local large outdoor retailer that does not carry this jacket.

Used this jacket to complete a touring ride in the tail end of a tropical storm. It kept me warm and dry. The bright yellow color kept me safe by making me more visable to motorists.
