So I was at first a bit reluctant to purchase this product because I didn't think it would secure my ocean kayak like a more expensive rack would. I checked it out at a local retailer, liked what I saw and went on-line to save a few bucks with you and decided to give it a try.

The first time I used it I put it directly on the roof of my compact car, secured it with the straps that came with it, and took off down the twisting mountain roads. The 14' kayak stayed put as if it were glued to the car.

The second time I used them they were attatched to a round tube roof rack. Again they performed flawlessly.

I am confident that this product will continue to offer an economical solution to mounting a kayak to the roof of your vehicle.

great purchase for carrying my kayak on small trips to long. I recently brought it to Black River Falls, WI. for a week on the river. Incredibly easy to use, I didn't even have to look at the directions. Only con is that's there is lots of strap vibration unless you tie the straps to each other as well.
