Comments about Princeton Tec Fuel 4 LED Headlamp: This headlamp is light, small and very bright. Changing the three AAA batteries is simple. I use it when working outdoors at night and have not put it on the included headband for hands free operation yet. Very satisfied!

Best Uses Comments about Princeton Tec Fuel 4 LED Headlamp: I got this as a gift and i took it on maybe 2 camping trips and the batter compartment popped open. i thought no big deal, so i fixed it with a little bit of duct tape and it worked for maybe 8 days until the other side of the battery compartment popped open.

No way to jury rig so its now useless. If they can fix the problems with the door I would buy another, until they do I'll use another brand left in the dark.

The battery door broke shortly after owning it. I like the performance of the light otherwise. Until they can ameliorate this problem I will be going back to the Quad Headlamp model.
Comments about Princeton Tec Fuel 4 LED Headlamp: Needed a good headlamp to run outdoors in the dark evenings. Saw other reviews about the battery compartment. Thought that I would have better results. Upon receipt I followed the instructions using the tab on the head band strap to open up the unit and insert the supplied batteries - the battery door broke! Obvious design, quality flaw. A deal breaker for what would otherwise be a good product. When will Princeton Tec address this? If it was a car it would be subject to the lemon law! Pros

I replaced on at the local store, but having to ship the others back is too much hassle. I wish they would just re-engineer the battery compartment!

Great headlamp - sturdy, reliable, plenty bright. Keep it hanging from the rear view mirror so it's always handy.
