Comments about Planet Bike Hardcore Fenders MTB: The installation of the front fender was challenging because the suspension was not engineered for a fender. The tire rubs against the fender just enough so that on a quiet run you can hear it. I use the bike to commute to work and back and found the fenders a great asset during heavy rains. I am very satisfied with my purchase because the fenders function well and the cost of purchase was most reasonable.

Fairly easy to install, but the instructions lack detail if you are not mechanically adept. I only gave them four stars because the metric bolt assortment included was skimpy and wrong for my bike....I think they should include a slightly larger assortment. Other than that they are very good quality fenders.

I am still fine tuning the alignment with the back tire (fat slicks on the back) since I also have a rack on the back so I'm hoping to keep the tire from rubbing. Anyhow the fenders work perfectly and with this extended wet season in CA (will summer ever come?), this really paid off. Campmor Rocks.

Comments about Planet Bike Hardcore Fenders MTB: During our first rail/trail ride with the new kids trailer, i looked back to see my one year old daughter slouching to one side. I thought she was just relaxing, turns out she was getting pummled by dust and debris. We have not tried them out on that same trail but i am sure these will keep her clean. Easy to put on and adjust.

Comments about Planet Bike Hardcore Fenders MTB: These are light weight and appear to be very durable. The shine on them is a high gloss. The only complaint I have is the mounting struts. First, the mounting ends should be machined flat with holes drilled instead of a bent loop. When you tighten the mounting screws, it causes the strut to torque up which makes the stut bend, which makes the fender pull off to one side. its a pain to get right. Second, the struts are pretty wobboly. I was hoping they wouldnt shake around so much from side to side while riding. But they look good. I put them on 26x2.1 tires and mounted them as close to the rubber as I could. I bought them for function but they made the bike look cool. Displaying reviews 1-9 |

No problem with the rear. For the front you would need to use zip ties. A better choice which would by pass the issues that the front fork presents is the Planet Bike Speedez Freddy Fenders - ATB

Full ATB fender does not have a mud flap. The fenders are made from the same SuperflexTM unbreakable all-weather polycarbonate material. The Hardcore ATB has Releast Tabs on front fender
