Recognizing that different amounts of light are needed for different conditions and situations, the EOS™ is equipped with three brightness levels and a blinking emergency/signaling mode. Each level provides true current regulation ensuring that the EOS™ will remain at constant brightness as long as the batteries have sufficient voltage. LED bulb life of 10,000 + hours. Weighs 3.7 oz. with 3 AAA batteries, included.
Low Output Mode: 50 hours of constant brightness / 121 hours of run time.
Medium Output Mode: 10 hours of constant brightness / 115 hours of run time.
High Output Mode: 1 hours of constant brightness / 113 hours of run time.
Flash Mode: 100 hours of run time.

Comments about Princeton Tec EOS LED Headlamp: My in-laws live in a nursing home and suffered through a long power outage last June. When I was camping with my son's troop this summer it struck me that headlamps might make a great and useful Xmas present for them. Bought 2 of these from Campmor. What a hit with the in-laws! Easy to use and the non-glare option is perfect for them.

It was extremely handy when we had a power outage for several days -- it kept me from losing my mind because I could see to do my needlework and it was great for reading too. It's light weight, so it's comfortable to wear and the positioning of the light is adjustable so you can put it right on your project. I consider this to be a terrific find and highly recommend it for power outages. Much easier than carrying around flashlight and safer than candles. I also used it when I couldn't find something under my kitchen sink.
