Comments about Yakima ForkLift Bike Carrier: I use this for both my mountain bike and my short wheelbase recumbent. It does an excellent job with both, mounted to my Mini Cioper factory cross bars. Installation was a snap, and taking it on and off is simple. I'm very happy with it

Comments about Yakima ForkLift Bike Carrier: I didn't need to buy any adapters or extra hardware to fit my factory rack on my Subaru. I will take this rack with me from car-to-car and I don't anticipate ever needing to buy another bike rack until this one breaks, which I hope won't be for a long time.
