Comments about Stanley 20 oz. Food Jar - 2012 Model:

The Stanley Vacuum Food Jar is a great little item for anyone on the go. If I pre-warm the jar by putting boiling water in it then add my food it stays warm for hours just like they claim. It also helps if you don't open and close the jar too.
Liquids do seem to stay hotter than items with more solid items. The only thing I'd change is a longer spork. The one that comes with it is a little short for the jar.
Overall the Vacuum Food Jar is a hit. Easy to clean, use and it takes a beating. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped mine and it still works great.

Comments about Stanley 20 oz. Food Jar - 2012 Model:

I ordered this product to use for my husband's lunch. He works on the railroad and in the winter time enjoys a hot lunch. I followed all the directions and sent my husband soup for the first use and sure enough it was steaming hot for his lunch. I was so happy! Sent chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes for the second use again, following all the same directions, and it was cold for his lunch. Not so happy! Sent soup again the third use and cold again by lunch time. What is the deal? Nothing is broke and the seal is fine. I'm very disappointed and wish I could send the silly thing back!

Comments about Stanley 20 oz. Food Jar - 2012 Model:

My high school age son uses this just about daily. He is not much of a sandwich fan so the fact that he can take hot foods from pasta to potstickers to bean burritos makes this product perfect. He likes the understated olive green color. He does wish the spork included in the lid was a little bit longer. Other than that, he thinks it's great!

I am looking for a vacuum thermos/food jar that can act as an insulator for a tiffin. Basically, I want to know if this tiffin, http://www.happytiffin.com/blue-small-2-tier-tiffin.html could fit INSIDE this thermos. It's dimensions are 5.0"L x 5.0"W x 4.8"H
