Comments about MSR Alpine Teapot: I used this pot everyday for two years straight when I was in Peace Core. This pot is one of the few items that survived Africa. The pot was used over an open fire for about a year and on an alcohol burner for another year. I work for the National Park Service now; I still use this pot when I do backcountry work.

Comments about MSR Alpine Teapot: In the past I have always bought MSR and Cascades Designs products. They have proven to be rugged and well built. The Alpine Kettle is no exception. My only complaint is the price. I found a product at the local "big box store" that was cheaper, lighter, and had more volume.

Comments about MSR Alpine Teapot: I use it to boil water. It's great because it boils water. There's nothing not great about it.

A:
The handles on this teapot fold down.Q:
Good afternoon campmor.com Customer Service Representative,1 answer
A:
The actual capacity for boiling wter without the pot overflowing is 1 liter. You could squeeze another .2 into the pot if you fill it to the brim, however that would give no expansion room and cause overflow.Q:
what size is the teapot (inches); will an isopro fuel container fit inside to opening?1 answer
A:
Teapot is 5.5 inches in diameter, 3.5 inches tall. Opening at top is 4 inches in diameter. None of the MSR Isopro fuel will fit inside it, but both the Jet boil and the Snow peak containers will.
