Cons Best Uses Comments about Yakima Q Towers: I watched the video a few times, and then went at it. It is not difficult to install, just follow the intructions. A flat surface is a MUST! The end result is very stable. It is as good as using a roof rack.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Yakima Q Towers: My 2009 Honda Pilot came without factory roof racks and since I have been a Yakima and Campmor customer since my windsurfing days in the early 80's, I have many different length Yakima cross bars to match the different vehicles I've owned through the years. The towers, clips and locks matched up perfectly with the 66" Yakima cross bars I already had. Installation was a breeze, the locks were simple to install, very easy. After a long weekend of use, the racks were easily removed and stored in the garage. My Pilot, after a weekend of fun, has returned to being a commuter vehicle san racks. Thanks Yakima for a great product and thanks Campmor for a great price.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Yakima Q Towers: I love to kayak Now I can load my kayak up on my Kia, Spectra and go when I want. I can use the racks for other things as well. I did have some trouble installing as the lock barrels were difficult to line up and turn into place even though I carefully measured everything out. One issue though was my boo-boo. I had one of the rubber washers in the Q clips turned around wrong. (Note: I had the Q clips that fit my car so all I needed was these towers.)[...]
