Comments about Yakima RailGrab 4 Towers: Purchased these so we could mount cross bars on our newer car. We use a rocket box and brackets for our canoes. Easy to install. The directions were perfect. We have used Yakima for years. Don't know about the durability of these "rail grabbers", but have high hopes for them. Good price from Campmor and prompt delivery.

Best Uses Comments about Yakima RailGrab 4 Towers: Bought the Yakima Railgrab mounts since I had a spare pair of round bars lying around. After comparing these Yakima Railgrab mounts to my "other swedish" rail mounts, I returned the Yakima Railgrab mounts and will sell my spare round bars and replace with a second set of "other swedish" mounts. Yakima requires 3 adjustments each time you place the bars on your rails, whereas the "other swedish" mounts require only one adjustment.

Will this Yakima RailGrab Tower permit me to remove the crossbar and whatever it attached to it easily. I am looking for a system that will not be on my roof semi-permanently, but only when I am transporting Kayaks. So, I'd like to know if this RailGrab will permit the easy removal of the crossbars.
