Campmor's price was the best I could find, ordering was easy and delivery was prompt.
For performance, this vest by RuffWear far exceeds any other brand we've looked at and/or tried. Just wish they made it in 'girly' colors.

My dog has a disease that makes him heat up super easily (anything above 70), plus he has a thick coat. The first time I used it was last year when we went camping. The minute we got out of the car it was somewhere around 90, and my pup was moving slow. As per instructions I wet it, wrung out the excess water, and put it on. Within just a couple minutes he was up and running around in his usual energetic manner. This really works. The only negative is that it's light colored (because obviously if it were dark it wouldn't work as well) so because it's wet, when near dirt it gets dirty fast. But, it's for a dog...so who cares...

Got one of these for our 165-lb English mastiff (I ordered direct from the company). Previously tried a war-dog cooling vest but our dog is not fond of having things put on him, its webbing freaked him out. This vest just goes on over the head, bingo. Unlike the war-dog vest which has chilling pads you freeze before use, this one is evaporative so on long walks it dries out and needs to have more water poured on.

I put it in a plastic basin of water in the car and then put it on him as we get started, so it is as wet as it gets rather than having dripped and dried a bit in the car.
But it works, he pants less and is more frisky.

My one quality related caveat is that the outer surface is a synthetic netting of some sort and for a big dog that crashes through brush on walks, not as durable as I might like. But I think anything that would be more durable would impair the evaporative process, so this drawback is just part of the product.

One of my Aussies suffers from exercise intolerance...his body temp rises to unsafe levels while playing. The cooling vest helps keep that from happening.
