for a standard SUV The Yakima Mako Saddles w/Tie Down which come as a pair you would need 2 sets to have a complete setup for 1 kayak. You may choose to use a roller in the back to make the kayak load more easily. To get 2 kayaks side by side you would need extra wide bars probably.Answered on 12/5/2012 by Steve from Campmor
