Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Lite Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: For years I put off buying a self-inflating sleeping pad. I decided to buy myself one as a birthday present this year. I had a chance to use it on a Scout campout recently, and it was one of the best nights sleep I've ever had camping!

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Lite Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: Inflate/deflate, packing all were easy. It did not provide as much comfort as I had hoped for. It would probably work fine for someone smaller than myself (6'1" 215).

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Lite Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: l love this sleep pad! Although it's a little big when packed, it's not so big and heavy that you can't backpack. For the money, there's no better pad. Don't substitute, get a Thermarest!

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Lite Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: I just purchased this a month ago and used it on 2 backpacking trips. Both times it was used on a tent platform so I can not rate how well it covers rocks/bumps...felt pretty nice over wood though. Woke up without being sore.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Lite Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: I had a hard time choosing an air matress but after some research I learned that thermarest was the brand to buy. I was going back and forth between this model and another one that was only an inch thick compared to 1.5 inches thick on this model. This is one area i have a hard time compromising on, COMFORT! If I dont get a good night's rest after hiking all day the next day will be miserable! So far it is doing a great job, the package says it weighs 1-lb 12oz and it packs down pretty small. Inflating isnt that hard but prepare to blow a bit of air into the matress to speed up the process. Im probably going to pair this matress with the z-lite for winter-extra comfort.
