I have an older model of these shorts and the new model with the 3D chamois is really good. In fact, when you are on the bike you cannot feel any discomfort with the 3D chamois. The eight panel design fits really well. I don't normally feel comfortable to ride without underwear, but these shorts help support my privates and feel very comfortable on the whole ride. I liked the addition of small rubber beads on the inside of the elastic leg openings that provides just a little resistence against your skin and helps keep the shorts from riding up your leg. Some of their jersey's have the same feature to prevent them from riding up. Good product for a 15+ miles 3-4 times a week.

I was a huge skeptic, but everyone says if you try bibs you will be sold. I could not be happier. These bibs are a true fit size wise with an awesome 3D chamois - ten times better than the bike shorts I bought just five years ago. I don't normally like to go without underwear, but with these bibs it feels comfortable to be mando and your privates don't shift or move around. I bought them in the spring, so I don't know how they will feel with the heat of summer. They have been great on those 60+ degree days when there is a little chill in the air. If you have a big belly, these are the bibs for you.
