Scott Herriott is a man who loves the Pacific Crest Trail, all 2,655 miles of it. He also will be the first to tell you that he is way too lazy to Walk it. At least in one shot. Scott also knows his way around a camera so he decided to film PCT thru-hikers on their journey. Starting near Campo, CA. at the southern most tip of the PCT Scott films and interviews thru-hikers about their journey. Then as the year progresses he waits for them at strategic spots to re-interview the now great unwashed and very smelly masses headed north. There is tons of hiking and long distance info here and lots of beautiful scenery too. You get to meet the hikers as well as Trail Angels who help along the way. This is a poignant look at a great long distance trail and the people who make it special. Complete with some good hiker humor and tales that will make you wish you were there. - Official Selection - Greenwich Film Festival 2004
