Discovered that 3 would not function due to defective valves. Ordered 5 to replace them and 4 had the same issue and will be returned.

Best Uses Comments about Century Tool Tri Outlet Safety Post: We have had several trees we have used previously. Ordered 2 of these to supply new boy scout patrol boxes but they did not compact down to size of others so they did not fix in the boxes. Ended up returning them and picking up available items at Walmart.

Comments about Century Tool Tri Outlet Safety Post: A good product that does what it's supposed to. The only drawbacks are that it's only 30" tall which really doesn't get the lantern up high enough to be above eye level and the screw that secures the post to the tank makes the post crooked when its tightened snug enough to be secure. Those are the only reasons for the 4 star rating.

Comments about Century Tool Tri Outlet Safety Post: It's better than the one I had before but, there's one that threads into the inner threads of the valve that is best. The plastic connection may not hold up to repeated use. I like that the tree connects to the tank and not the valve relieving added stress to the connector.

Comments about Century Tool Tri Outlet Safety Post: This is a wonderful product. I love being able to hook up my camping stove, small, portable grill and lantern to my 20# propane tank. It is a great setup for cooking while camping. I also like not needing to mess with all the small propane canisters (I bring some along just in case and for making the lantern portable). My one wish would an extension so the lantern sits up higher, but that does not detract from this great product. As others have said, I like the fact this one attaches to the collar and doesn't rely on the propane valve for support.

Comments about Century Tool Tri Outlet Safety Post: We have an offroad trailer with an area in the front to carry a propane tank, the tops of the trailer fold down into a table. Using the tower we are able to setup our kitchen by hooking up to our stove and lantern. We have looked at several this one overall has the best design.

Q:
I bought the Century Tool Tri Outlet Post and have a Ranger II Blind Stove. How do I connet this stove's Regulator and 5 ft. hose to the tree?1 answer
A:
The thread on the bottle side of the hose should match the thread on the post. Just thread the hose to the post.Q:
Specifically, how does the post attach to the tank? Does it physically attach to the tank superstructure, or does the post attach to something or somewhere else?1 answer
A:
Yes, the Tri Outlet Safety Post will physically attach to a bulk propane tank.Q:
How does this attach to the propane tank?1 answer

The Century Tool Tri Outlet Safety Post attaches to the propane tank with a hose like the Century 5 ft. hose. http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___52502Q:
Do you have to use the top connection for a lantern, or can you hook another device to that as well?? I was thinking in terms of daylight cooking(stove, bbq and overn) We also do outdoor catering, so the extra connection would come in handy.1 answer

Outlets are universal, you can attach a differnet appliance at the top,.Q:
How does the safety post attach to the tank? Will I need a conversion kit to connect to a propane stove?1 answer
