Comments about Seattle Sports Rain Rider Pannier: I use the panniers one or two depending on what I am bringing. I use them primarily for Bike Commuting on either my Mongoose Hybrid or my Dahon Folding bike. I can easily transfer them to either bike and even tote my laptop in a sleeve inside. they are steady and secure and have never had any issues. Plenty of room to bring a full hange of clothes and shoes and laptop when commuting. Pros

Comments about Seattle Sports Rain Rider Pannier: I have been using these panniers on a regular almost daily basis for a year. They are very Good. That said if you are making frequent trips and havign to take them on and off the clips are solid plastic that can be a bit difficult to pull off repeatedly. This compared to the ortlib bacgs you will pay four times as much for just to have a handle that when pulled on releases the clip. lol pun intended. They are however nice for long trips and bumpy rides when an ortlib style clip might mechanically be bumped in a way to realse it ;-) I guess. The bags are very large that makes them good for hauling just about anything. They compress to a smaller size and if packed carfuly with more fagile things on top can haul anything from goceries to firewood. I have set these down on the ground, asphalt, concrete alot over the last year and the bottom rip sop nylon is only slightly worn with a few almost invisibly small holes. One on on the lower X clips on the bottom broke on the part screwed to the bag leaving it only attach on one side of the bag. I have just been carfully sliding it down with my hand thinking of repacing it but it really just keeps the bag against the rack at the bottom. Other then that seriuosly have recieved mroe then my monies worth in use and they have performed remarkably well in; Sunshine, Rain, Snow HAHA ;-). When they say water proof I have yet to have a Seattle rain storm (not our dirizzle) with the bags roll top rolled three times let even mosture in. Pros

Comments about Seattle Sports Rain Rider Pannier: My husband and I just received our Rain Rider Pannier's and Padded Duffle bags. We were amazed at how much gear we could pack in these and still have room leftover. They are water tight and snap snug-tight onto our Sunlite bike racks! This is the perfect gear for our upcoming bike/camping expeditions. Displaying reviews 1-4 |
