Comments about Serfas Seca Road Tire 700 x 28:

I have these tires on my commuter bike, a Trek Soho S. Bought them based on brand (I had Serfas tires on my MTB and loved them), price, and the FPS "Flat Protection System". I ride in NYC and commute to work, anywhere from 20-60 miles a week, so need durable tires.
First flat came on my 2nd ride on these tires. In the roughly 6 months I've had them on, I just fixed my fourth flat. (By comparison, the tires they replaced, Bontrager's that came with the SohoS, I had 1 or 2 flats in over a year.) Flat Protection? Not so much. I should have known better than to think that tires that come with a pink or flourescent green stripe option would be durable.
