Comments about Showers Pass Men's Club Pro Rain Jacket:

Bought this the week prior to TRIRI (bike tour, Indiana). It rained day 2 for oh, 3 hours of the ride. Looking back I realized that while my socks were drenched, my jersey wasn't.
I'd consider this a 3-season jacket; temps were in the 42-65F range, but with full sun it wasn't needed & was on the warm side. Sleeves are velcro (nice) and the pit zips helped too with ventilation, but keep in mind they don't have mesh-it's open into the jacket.
No back pocket -as my first rain jacket this may be standard, but has interior pockets .

I'm 6' 4" tall, the sleves are long enough but the body is just a little short. At 185# the XL fits well with three layers underneeth.

Comments about Showers Pass Men's Club Pro Rain Jacket:

I got this for my commuting spouse who bikes hard and fast. It is good quality, nice color, and waterproof. However, contrary to the Campmor description, the fabric is definitely not breathable at all, there is no moisture wicking. According to the Campmor question person, the only "breathing" is through the vents. Campmor should understand that that is not "breathable", it is venting. The "armpit" zipper vents are not in the arm pit but on the front of the jacket and are vertical, about 5 inches long. Also contrary to the description, there is no back pocket.

          Service and delivery comments:

The standard delivery was super speedy. And Customer Service was prompt with a response to my product question.

Comments about Showers Pass Men's Club Pro Rain Jacket:

This jacket was the right price and was obviously designed with the cyclist in mind. Went out in a fairly steady downpour and the generous pit vents and back vent kept me reasonably cool while doing the important task of keeping me dry.

            Overall highly recommended.

                • Q:

I just received a Showers Pass Men's Club Pro Rain Jacket. Question 1. Are both the outside layer and the inside liner really breathable? The inside looks rubbery and doesn't seem to breathe. I can't try it out in real conditions since I want to return it if the jacket's not breathable.

Question 2: Did anyone get this jacket with a rear pocket? The description says it has one, but mine definitely does not.

                    A:

The breath ability is a function of the vents in the front of the jacket. The laminated waterproofing is not breath able. You would need to rely upon the side and rear vents. There is no pocket in the back.
