I bought these gloves to replace my Gore Phantom II gloves. Those gloves were size 9XL and according to Gore's sizing chart they were the best fit for my hands. I found them too tight after my hands began to sweat but the Phantom glove in XXL was too big. In general Gore sizing seems to be on the small side and so it seems with their glove sizing chart.

I bought these Power SO gloves in size 10XXL and they fit out perfectly at all times.

Two other improvements in the Power SO other than sizing over the Phantom:

- the inner lining is better attached to the gloves and stay in place when you remove your hands. When you sweat your hands expand a little and this can make it hard to reinsert your hand into a sweaty glove.

- the padding is better positioned for grabbing the handlebars on a road bike. The Phantom padding also shifted around a little.

I like these gloves so much I've bought a second pair for the future because you never know when a good design will get replaced by a lesser one.
