Best Uses Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest RidgeRest Cell Foam Pad Regular: I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner? I've used the inflatable Thermarest's and love them but these Ridgerest's are great! I was very happy with how comfortable they were. I wasn't impressed that they don't compress and pack as small as I'd like but otherwise they were great! Very comfortable and kept me warm. Even my son agreed he thought they were great.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest RidgeRest Cell Foam Pad Regular: This pad is very comparable to the Z-lite pad. My decision to buy this pad was space. I wanted a pad I could wrap around my sleeping bag. It just saves space in my particular pack. I think you will enjoy this pad, and the price is minimal.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest RidgeRest Cell Foam Pad Regular: I had one I bought 5 years ago, a big step up from those cheapo grey foam mats. First one is holding up so well, I bought another for my daughter for our car camping trips. She is not as hard to please as my wife ( I bought my wife the Campmor inflatable if you really want comfort and aren't worried about space/packing). These are durable and easy to roll up, and the price is great. Long enough and wide for me at 5'11" and 190lbs. Just enough cushion and insulation to make sleeping outdoors more comfortable. You will not regret this pad for hiking (that's what I bought the first one for) or car camping.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest RidgeRest Cell Foam Pad Regular: Given my budget, the RidgeRest is just right. And quite comfortable! Not as hard as an inflatable but still gave plenty of support and cushion.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest RidgeRest Cell Foam Pad Regular: In my opinion, over years of camping, Ridgerests are the best option for a sleeping pad because they don't require inflation and they can't deflate, also the price is better than therm-a-rests. I also like being able to use it propped against my pack, with some on the ground, as a camp chair when I'm backpacking.
