You either want to wear them under something or just hang out at home in them. At first the wool seemed a little itchy but I got used to it really quickly. I wore them all day and loved how warm I stayed without getting too warm.

Best Uses Comments about Coldpruf Platinum Midweight Plus Size Pants - Women's: These are very warm and comfortable though I would not call them "pants", rather long underwear because of look and attraction to lint if worn alone or as top layer. They are light, breathable, stretchy with a fleece-like feel. They tend to fit baggy which I like but others may not. Their soft fleece-like texture picks up pet hair and anything with static, so best worn under pants. They wash and dry on not super hot setting well. I would buy again for long underwear but not for outer layer (which was my intent).

Comments about Coldpruf Platinum Midweight Plus Size Pants - Women's: Love these! I am very used to wearing regular leggings under dresses or skirts and thought I'd upgrade to these for warmth. They are really great, fit is lovely, but if you are used to today's leggings (vs long underwear), they are a bit baggy. Really great to wear on a freezing day, soft and the waistband doesn't wander or cut into you.
