Comments about Slumberjack Big Cot: My husband and I have camped for years, first with our chldren and now with our grandchildren. We've always slept on an air mattress but decided to buy cots this year. I can't believe the difference. Our new cots were comfortable and so much cooler than an air mattress. We purchased the extra large size because my husband is over six feet tall. I highly recomend this size if your tent can accomodate. I'm 5 ft 6 inches so I had plenty of room and was very comfortable. My husband doesn't usualy sleep well when camping but he had no problems this time. The cots are heavy so you couldn't use them for back packing and they might be combersome if you had to walk a distance to the camp site. But for the camping we do - parking on or very near the site - they were no problem. We also had more room in the tent this time because we were able to place the cots in an L pattern leaving plenty of room for walking around. This was a good buy.

Comments about Slumberjack Big Cot: I am a senior plus size woman with arthritis. I camp with my daughter's family for several weeks each year. I had been experiencing some dificulty in the mornings with my arthritis during our trips and had thought I might not be able to continue our outings. I used an air mattress on top of this cot (absoutly necessary) and I was extreamly comfortable the entire time. I had no problem getting out of this cot in the morning. So much easier than getting up off the double queen size air mattress I had been using! This cot is wide enough to allow freedom of movement, and sturdy enough to accomadate my grandaughter sitting on the cot with me. It is very long, wich was nice to have some room to stretch out. I wish I had bought this cot sooner! I was able to get out of bed in the morning with very little stiffness and do more during the day than I had the previous year. Fabulous product! Thanks Campmor!

Comments about Slumberjack Big Cot: This is a sturdy cot, easy to set up even though there were no instructions. It would be nice if there were replacement parts, like the fabric cot itself. Not recommended for back packing, too big and bulky for this, but for easy access camp sites, quiet nice.

Comments about Slumberjack Big Cot: Going camping with the boy scouts and have been using my sons cot for some time. Decided it was time for my own. Once put together, (its very hard at first because everything is stiff) its sleeps wonderful. I'm not a big person but I think larger people would sleep just fine on it.
