Mostly in-house for house guest (i.e., my brother); might also use it for camping (as my sister did this when she was pregnant, to good effect); putting a thin inflatable mattress pad on top adds to comfort.

The cot held up to the abuse doled out by two 10 year olds over the holidays and wad still comfy enough for the adults to use for turkey laden naps.

Quality is good but I do have reservations about the long term viability of the plastic plug used to anchor the end bars. They show no obvious damage from the two weeks of use but the cots were set up and stationary during that time. Age and heat may degrade the plastic enough that replacements may be required but the tubing looks to be standard 1 inch tube and replacement plugs can be fashioned from parts available from the local hardware store.

The only other caution is the weight of the cot when setting it up. It is a bit awkward but can be accomplished by one person.

beware of varryiong lots and varrrying quality of these cots-odered 2 in early JUly adn they were fantastic- so go infact I ordered another- last one came and quality was not what the first two cots were...had to return 3rd cot broken upton removal from the box...these things are HEAVY!!!

Used for Boy Scout winter camp, and was extremely comfortable. Much larger and roomier than my old cot. It is a bit heavy, but that's ok - we don't haul it far.
