Comments about Slumberjack Women's Latitude 20 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

I've been using this bag while doing trail work out in Montana, so I usually use it for about 18-20 days out of the month. Really like the bag, it's warm enough. I'd reccomend a liner for colder temps. My only complaint is that after about four months of use the zipper is starting to split and doesn't zip securely anymore--splitting apart when I move around at night.

Comments about Slumberjack Women's Latitude 20 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

I'm 5'3" 150lbs and the length and size was great. It's a bit difficult to get back in its storage bag but I get it eventually. Fit great on my Static V pad. I don't think it's good for temps down to 20 degrees. At night the temp got down to the high 30's and I woke up cold a few times. I know it doesn't pack the smallest but I couldn't beat the price. I just attach it to the outside of my pack. The zipper worked great and I liked the Velcro tab to keep it zipped. Only used the once as far. So far so good, just going to need a few more layers for cold nights.

Comments about Slumberjack Women's Latitude 20 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

I just used this sleeping bag last weekend on a camping trip. The weather was in the low 40's and raining the entire time! Even though it was wet and cold I was very warm and comfortable. I did put a blanket over the outside of the sleeping bag, and also wore warm clothes and socks, but I was very warm and comfy all night.

did keep me fairly warm in 39 degree chill, but
I'm only 5'3" and the bag is too short once you
tighten the hood for warmth. Should be longer to accommodate
the fact that several inches of the bag "disappear"
when you mummify the hood. otherwise, it's
      a nice bag.

Comments about Slumberjack Women's Latitude 20 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

I bought this for my wife right before our trip to the Weminuche Wilderness in CO. I have an older Slumberjack Latitude Kepler and I love it, so I jumped on a good deal for this bag for her.

We car camped for a couple days at Vallecito, then backpacked for 3 nights on the Vallecito Creek trail, then car camped one more night. It rained on us a few nights. My wife is short (5' 2") and tiny, but I still got her the women's regular just because she turns a lot in her sleep.

She loved the padded hood that acted like a pillow and the drawstring that kept it tight on her head on one of the colder nights. It kept her plenty warm most other nights, even to where she unzipped it all the way to cool off on a warmer night at lower altitude. We were using closed cell sleeping pads (Thermarest z-lite) with our bags for comfort and insulation from the ground.

Also to note, we got a leak in our tent on a seam during a particular hard rain and it got on the foot of her bag. In the morning she said she never noticed, so I think the water resistance is decent.

My biggest gripe with this bag is the pack/stuff size is huge for what we were using it for (backpacking mostly) and I had to stuff it in my 75L bag sans stuff sack since it wouldn't fit in her backpack. Yea, this bag comes with a stuff sack and no compression sack. A comp sack would help a lot, but even so, this bag isn't meant to be packed small.

Comments about Slumberjack Women's Latitude 20 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

This bag packs small and is light. The temp. rating is inaccurate. The temp. got down to 40 degrees where is was camping and I was cold. Also, I think the size is small. I'm 5'2" tall and slim and I fit perfectly in the bag with very little room to spare. I don't think someone larger would be comfortable in this bag.

My wife slept in this bag about 40 degrees F. Any colder temperature and she said she would have been chilly. Otherwise very comfy and plenty of room, especially for a bag of this price. I think the temperature rating should be more like 30 or maybe even 40, but no lower than 30.

Comments about Slumberjack Women's Latitude 20 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

Bought this for my daughter who is too big for "youth" sizes, but doesn't need an adult size. It would be too short for my wife (5'8").

The bag quality is good with plenty of loft for cold nights. The zipper is designed to "mate" to another bag, which means it separates at the end. Not sure of the utility of "mating" mummy bags, and the separation makes re-connecting the zipper necessary periodically.

My only real complaint, though, is that the stuff sack was so tight that my daughter (10) couldn't get the bag out and there is no chance of putting it back.
