I usually wear XL for sleeve and body length, but size L works perfectly. Nice snug but not too tight fit. I could wear a compression hot or cold gear underneath, and usually put a heavy long sleeve T over and then a sweat shirt and coat. I'm usually too warm if active. Have not sat in extreme cold yet, like a tree stand.
