Comments about Marmot Plasma 30 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

I love everything about it except the biggie, which is for me it only keeps me warm to about 40 degrees and that's with a silk liner that's rated 10 degrees.

Comments about Marmot Plasma 30 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

As a minimalist I gotta go with the best gear that also has the leightest weight for my goals. This sleeping bag, according to all my research, is the best of both luxury and my basic needs. Meaning, I am not sacrificing anything for this luxury, which is the best kind. (Most luxuries take up space and weight, not the case here.)

Comments about Marmot Plasma 30 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

[...] the bag was warm, comfortable and compressible. I am excited about using it on another 150 mile section of the AT. Many times the hyperbole accompanying a new product leads to disappointments, but I was very pleased with the Marmot Plazma 30. The weekend trip I recently made did not reveal any negatives, and the performance was such that I have the expectation of the same for my two week section in October, even though it is in PA & NJ, and even though I am 71 yrs of age.

Comments about Marmot Plasma 30 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

I have four Marmot bags in the family, including a 30-year-old -20 degree Pocket Gopher. This is the lightest and warmest per weight. The exterior material has an initial creepy feel that I got over the first night. The color scheme is "in your face" but I adjusted to that, too. It has a typical slim Marmot fit which works for me until I need to snug the hood down tight.

Comments about Marmot Plasma 30 Degree Sleeping Bag Regular:

This sleeping bag is a cloud and extremely compressible. The Pertex lining is like silk on your skin and a DWR finish makes moisture bead up and roll off. The vertical baffle system with flow gate technology keep the down isolated in each chamber not to mention that the down is 900 fill. This is hands down my favorite sleeping bag I have ever owned, but it didn't come with a compression sack. I don't count off if it didn't come with the sleeping bag, its the bag I'm rating not the sack.
