Comments about Marmot Helium 15 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: I've used this on some cool night backpacking and 1 snow summit backpack trip so far where it got down to about 20 and 30+ mph winds making big drafts in my 3 season tent. This bag is very warm. I was toasty at the temperatures mentioned but it did get a bit drafty with the wind. The neck doesn't cinch down much without the hood cinching a lot as well. This was great for the cold night overall but I'm not a huge fan of it being clinched down over my head to keep the wind out. With it over my head it was almost too warm so I guess i just gotta figure out what's going to work over time.

Comments about Marmot Helium 15 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: I love this bag. It takes up less space in my pack, is very light, and allows me to move/bend my legs without feeling restrictive. My favorite bag ever. The 850+ down is super warm.

Comments about Marmot Helium 15 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: Hi, I used this bag for the last week of March in the Colorado high country and It was perfect. It is VERY warm and compacts down in a 10L compression sac. I was never cold, actually the opposite. The bag was so warm I opened it up and used it as a quilt. Given, I always slept inside an unheated shelter but still. This bag should be warm enough in all but the coldest conditions.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Marmot Helium 15 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: This too is one of my prized camping possessions. Super comfortable, warm and lite. Just what I was looking for to meet my camping and backpacking needs. It packs real small with the supplied staff sack. I use one that is slightly larger as I don't want to squeeze the life out of it. I'm 6'4", 230 lbs and this bag has all the comfort and room I desire. Add to that it's low-weight and this bag is ideal for the avid backpacker.

Comments about Marmot Helium 15 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: One of my very favorite possessions. I don't know how it can be so warm, light and roomy all at once. I ordered this one and another good-quality brand that should have been equivalent, in order to compare and keep the better one. The difference between the loft in this one and the other was apparent immediately. This one was the keeper.
