Comments about Marmot Atom 40 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: I recently used this bag on a bicycle touring trip in WVA. It packed well. The stuff sack is about the right size. The temp rating was reasonable but there could have been a bit more down in the foot box imo. Overall a pretty comfy bag. Glad I purchased it.

Comments about Marmot Atom 40 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: I've owned a Marmot Helium for a while and am very pleased with it. I bought the Atom, which is almost identical in design to the Helium, to use in when temperatures are at or above 40. I used the Atom several nights and it performs as I had expected. I highly recommend the 800 fill bags by Marmot

Comments about Marmot Atom 40 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: I'm 6'1" and have the long model. Used it for 2 trips and 40 temp rating is accurate for me if I sleep in thin clothes such as silk long sleeve top with long johns. Had to add 2 more layers when temps dropped to 31. But was otherwise comfortable. Was comfortable at 48, never used it any warmer than that. I bought it for light weight, and because it packs down small. Others say it packs down to softball size, but I haven't compressed it that much. The zipper does snag a little, not a big deal if you're careful.

Comments about Marmot Atom 40 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long: Love it! I'm a big guy and it's worked very well for me into the low 40 degrees. Used it in NM, CO, and AR. Light weight, packs small, and fluffs nice.
