Best Uses Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: I have purchased several pairs of these boots and have have loved the quality and durability. I recently purchased 2 pairs for myself and a friend and this pair was thiner, arch straps not even, right one 2 inches longer? the inside sole was thin and seams are felt when wearing. These will not last like the original ones Neosport made. I am very disappointed in how the quality has slipped. I know you are trying to keep the cost down, but at the expense of quality? This was my 3rd pair in the past 6 years and up to know loved them. Pros

Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: These tall neoprene boots are great for getting in and out of kayaks and canoes with dry feet. They make cold water kayaking safer and more pleasant. They fit well, stay on and stay up, and fold over for warmer weather. My size 11 boots fit well in my sea and white water hulls. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: Make sure you size up when you buy. They are narrow. Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: This is exactly what I thought it would be and appreciated the extra room for thicker socks which comes in handy in the 33 degree river water. Though the foot part is a bit cloddy, the overall design with the tighter fit around the ankle and calf along with the velcro strap over the top of the boot, gave it a very secure feeling. Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: I will be using these most for canoeing, and other boating. Pros

Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: Great for staying dry while getting in and out of our Kayaks. We have Hobi Pro Anglers with the pedal drive. The boots are really comfortable and fit in the foot pedals great. We just wear thin socks. They are warm and perfect for us in the winter here in NC Pros

Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: On a recent trip to the Adirondacks these boots were very comfortable and warm. With wool socks, even after going over the top of one, it was very warm on a cold day. Your feet sweat a bit because of the neoprene but again a good wool sock takes care of the water vapor. They do not offer support for portaging but are very flexible which is preferred in a canoe or kayak. They won't win a beauty contest but are very functional and for the price can't be beat. Pros

Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: I used these boots for six days kayaking in Adirondacks. They didn't leak and gave good traction on slippery rocks. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Neosport Explorer Neoprene Boot: Bought these boots heading off to a cold water weekend kayak camping trip with heavy rain in the forecast. These boots kept my feet dry and easily accomodated thick socks which kept me warm. Total immersion when getting in & out of yak - no leaks - no problem. Given overall wet weather encountered I even wore them around camp. Last point - if you are thinking about going with a lower over ankle model - realize that you can easily roll/fold these taller ones down but retain the option of rolling them up to full size when needed.
