Comments about Eureka Camping Cot XL: I purchased this cot for my winter hunting/camping trips. It is BIG! This was an upgrade for a low cost cot I bought three or four years ago. I should not have waited so long. I've never been so comfortable on my hunting trips! Plenty of room to move around and long enough so I was not hanging off the end. I can't wait to use it again.

Comments about Eureka Camping Cot XL: I got this as a gift for my parents when they come to visit, it very large and just lying on it a short time seems very comfortable, hope it's not too large for the space we have!

Comments about Eureka Camping Cot XL: i bought two, i love them and hope to have them for years to come! primarily used for camping (beach site/tropical), but these would also be great at home for guests staying over. i especially love their size, plenty of room for me to sprawl out at night :) made of excellent materials, strong base, heavy duty canvas, highly recommend.

Comments about Eureka Camping Cot XL: Very roomy and comfortable. would be a little heaavy if I had to carry it on a long day trip. Worst about it was hard to get out of as my feet would not touch ground and I have fairly long legs.

Comments about Eureka Camping Cot XL: Good, large cot for the money. Maybe not the most sturdy design but adequate for young guests to sleep on. Pros

Comments about Eureka Camping Cot XL: I bought this to take car camping and to have an extra bed at home for guest. It is big, but not as comfortable as my smaller cot, let me explain. My smaller cot is tighter when put together, so it supports my body a little better. The Eureka xl is just that, huge, because it is so big it doesn't get that taughtness that you really need to get good support, it's not bad, but just not as good as my smaller cot. I do like the size though, that makes up for the not so tight pitch when put together. It also goes together a lot eaiser than my small cot. The small cot takes 3 grown men and 2 mules to put it together, not really, but I do have to use a crow bar to put on the end piece. The Eureka xl is simple and easy to put together, but beware this thing takes up a lot of room. I just used it last weekend while hunting inside my 10'x12' dome tent and it was all the way front to back and almost half the width, I could have got 2 cots in there but that was about all you would be able to get in there. Overall I really like the size and the comfort, on a scale of 1-10 it would rate a high 7

Comments about Eureka Camping Cot XL: Very comfortable cot with lots of width. We own two and use them in our Eureka Equinox 6 (10' X 11' 8") tent but we can only fit two of these in our tent. Be forwarned that you need a large tent to fit these in.

A:
We do not sell a mattress that is exclusive to the Eureka Camping Cot XL. The Thermarest Basecamp or the Thermarest LuxuryMap will fit these cots.Q:
Are these various camp cots usable inside a tent? Do the metal legs not hurt the tent bottom i.e. do these metal legs not punch through the fabric of a tent bottom?1 answer

As long as the tent floor is a heavy material like ripstop polyethylene or an oxford nylon a cots legs will not damage a tent floor. For tent floors that are light weight you may want to look for cots that use a hooped leg like RIO Adventure Cozy Camp BedQ:
