The XL with insole works perfectly with men's size 9 Atomic & Salomon ski boots. Size 9 Keen winter boot fits with insole removed. 3 pin back country boots will not fit in XL.

Comments about Neos Explorer Stabilicer Overshoe: I had a bunch of friends who swore by these when they were running dogs, some even used them in Iditarod. I got about one solid season out of them before they lost all water repellence. Everyone I run dogs with said that they just use tennis shoes with good, thick ski socks underneath the NEOS. So I saw no problem in using them on one of our camp outs with the dogs. When I woke up, the temperature had dropped to 15 below zero and in the 30 miles it took to return to the kennel, I had completely lost feeling in my feet. I'd have been better off wearing snowboarding boots.

If you need good footing and want the added benefit of an insulated overboot (that claims to be water-proof as well) this is a good product. If you're in and out of a vehicle all day you can keep them on although tile or concrete floors are trecherous with them on. The size charts are way off, particularly for steel-toe safety boots. Had to send the first one back and order up to the XXL to fit my 10 1/2 Red Wing work boots.

Comments about Neos Explorer Stabilicer Overshoe: Perfect! I don't wear socks when hiking and these boots kept my toes warm and dry in subzero temperatures submerged in snow for hours. They have a lot of surface area which makes it easy to hike along snow without sinking into it.

Comments about Neos Explorer Stabilicer Overshoe: I gave them to my 82-year-old mother. She is unable to squeeze the plastic snap buckle release enough to unbuckle it. Otherwise, she loves the light weight, the looks, the steel studs, the warmth of the insulated sides and uppers.
