Comments about Neos Navigator 5 Overshoes: These are the best thing to keep your feet warm while icefishing. I would recommend the studded model however. Heavy hiking boots and agressive tread shoes are hard to fit in these boots.

Comments about Neos Navigator 5 Overshoes: I am a mail carrier and can get NEOs with Uniform Allowance. I choose to spend my own $$ on Navigators (Explorers are the only style of NEOs permitted with Allowance). I found Navigators have a far superior sole: deeper tread; softer, more "grippy" rubber. AND higher uppers, with built-in gators, mean I'm ready for high drifts. Sold on NEOs long ago, but most impressed by Navigators.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Neos Navigator 5 Overshoes: I broke these in on a snowy vacation, trampsing between various family houses, dog walks, leaving snowy boots by the door. I slipped them on over my down slippers--even walked for five miles that way on a snowy path. They will also work well at the horse stable over shoes/boots (though not the hiking boots) in snowy times. The tall gators are great. All-in-all, I'm VERY pleased to own these! Pros

Comments about Neos Navigator 5 Overshoes: I wear these boots everyday in the winter to do chores. No other boot (and I've tried a bunch)is as durable and keep my feet warm. Wool lined pak boots don't come close.

Comments about Neos Navigator 5 Overshoes: I cant speak to their durability yet but they are waterproof. Great traction in slick mud. Much easier to put on than traditional boots, has velcro closure and cinch buckle instead of tightening laces that either freeze or keep coming undone. Very light, can barely feel them where as regular boots feel like their made of concrete. Pack down small enough to fit in side pocket of backpack. Thought they were expensive at first but after using them I think they are worth even more.

Comments about Neos Navigator 5 Overshoes: These are not exactly dress up-dancing-and-party shoes, but, they are warm, dry, and stable in sloppy winter conditions. Lightweight. Perfect for standing outside at ski races, walking dogs, and getting around when comfortable feet matter. LOVE being able to pop them off and have nice dry shoes inside.
