A favorite among the Mountain Hardwear alpine climbing team, the Mountain Hardwear Phantom 0 is a lightweight four-season bag. This snug mummy cut bag is insulated with 800-fill down, built from Superlight 15 denier fabric and tuck-stitched for durability. The Mountain Hardwear Phantom 0 uses every trick in the book to keep you warm while being as light as possible.
  • Premium 800-fill down insulation provides outstanding lightweight warmth and loft.
  • Performance mummy is cut snug, for maximum warmth with minimum weight.
  • Tight 5 in. baffle spacing maximizes loft.
  • Six-chamber hood design maintains even loft around head for consistent warmth.
  • Ergonomic draft collar blocks the escape of heated air from inside the bag. The two-piece collar drapes naturally over neck and shoulders creating a soft comfortable seal. Two draw cords can snug down as needed to secure the collar.
  • Down-filled face gasket comfortably blocks drafts at the hood opening.
  • Insulated draft tube with anti-snag panel prevents cold spots along zipper.
  • Comfort Footbox follows natural foot position for maximum warmth and comfort.
  • Lightweight two-way zipper for easy entry and exit.
  • Single-handed draw cords simplify adjustments.
  • Nylon mesh storage bag and stuff sack included.
  • Left or Right Side Zipper.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Phantom 0 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long:

It is warm and cozy! I've used this in the Colorado Rockies this winter for a 3 week long outdoor living experiment. I am 6'1" and I got the long. It is a bit too long, but great for hiding in during the early morning sun and cold. My only notable Con is the snagging zipper. If MH could fix this, it would be an excellent bag!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Phantom 0 Degree Down Sleeping Bag Long:

I used this bag for 3 weeks in the Peruvian Andes at ~16,000 ft. Combined with a Cocoon Silk liner and Thermarest, I was warm and comfortable almost every night sleeping in just long underwear. This bag provides comfort in a lightweight/small size that is perfect for circum-freezing temperatures with little/no precipitation. I did not test how water might affect its performance, but I can imagine it wouldn't fare well without a bivy or other waterproofing.

No complaints just be aware it's a tight fit so it's not easy to move around in and can make you feel smothered.
