The answer to one question states that this measures 39.5" from the head hole to the bottom hem. The head hole is probably 8-9" high. Is the measurement from the top, middle, or bottom of the head hole? That would make a big difference in where the hem falls.

The Campmore Cascade II poncho (52"x80") covers upto the shin (according to the Q&A about that product). Kelty poncho appears much smaller and hence the question.
