How well would these work in lower light, such as in the rainforest? Would viewing be clear or would a higher power binocular be preferred?

The Bushnell 7x35 Powerview Binoculars would work well in lower light conditions. When you divide 7/35 = 5. The higher this number the better the light gathering capability is. 5 is a pretty good number for a glass that is not a nautical glass.
