The jacket fit true to size and is lightweight yet warm enough for him in winter. I chose this jacket particularly because it is also waterproof. My husband liked the jacket so much, I'm going to purchase one for him too!

I hemmed and hawed for quite some time before I bought it because of the price. Finally, I threw caution to the wind and bought and am very pleased indeed. I love this jacket. It is windproof like nobody's business. The fig green color is awesome.

Comments about The North Face Men's Apex Bionic Soft Shell Jacket: I am 6'3" and always have to buy 2XL or 3XL to get sleeve length long enough. I got an XL and it is perfect!!! This jacket works perfectly for how I use it (all weather running around and to and from work, I walk about 400 yards outside, year round to the building I work in) it keeps me warm and dry. I would not recomend for sub 30deg. weather unless you are moving alot. Great jacket!!!
