I use it for camping and in case if I have guests over. This cot obviously won't work if you'r planing to take it on a hike (way too heavy) but perfect for road trips. Its very compact and very easy to open. Seems to be durable and defenetly comfortable.

Easy set up and break down. Fits well in the provided bag. This cot is large and stable. Hope to get years of use out of it. Will not be bringing it back packing but I figured that before the purchase. I am very satisfied with this product.

This would have to be the best cot I've ever used. I love the solid construction and super easy setup and takedown. Great quality materials and workmanship. Heavy, but simply due to the choice of materials lending to durable construction.

I need the ability to set up a sleeping place in a wide variety of non-residential buildings on a frequent basis. While hefty and non-totable, this product meets that need admirably. Since these environments frequently have non-insulated floor spaces a built-in thermal barrier in the cot bed would have been a real plus, but this is easy to augment.

If I had to make the choice again I would choose the Byer Maine Military cot instead.
I ordered 2 Easy Cots and while they are easy to set up, they are not very supportive for the back. They sag like a hammock rather than having a taut surface.
I did not find them very comfortable, even with adding plenty of padding.
If I had not prematurely thrown out the boxes I would send them back for an exchange.

We bought two of these cots this summer when we had house guests. We were tired of the space our big blowup mattress took up and decided to try these cots. We gave our guests our bed and my husband and I each took a cot. We actually found them comfortable and slept on them for 4 nights! They were a cinch to fold and set aside each morning. Now when my kids have a friend overnight, they crash on a cot rather than the floor.
