Got this for my son's first time at scout camp. Weather was hot and humid, and when he got home one of the first things he said was "thanks for the liner, it was so comfortable in the heat". He said it fit his cot perfectly. Now we will see how it works as a liner for winter camping!

Comments about Kelty Poly/Cotton Blend Hostel Sleep Sack Liner:

Bought two of these for my wife and I for use in AMC Huts. Worked perfectly. Minor negative is that the sack is sewn all the way to top making a narrow entry - might have preferred longer opening along side - perhaps with velcro (we may do some post-purchase adaptations). But not enough of an issue to drop from 5-star rating.

I was looking for an alternative to sleeping bags for my sons scouting camp as temperatures at night soared. This product fit the bill perfectly. He was cool, covered and comfortable. I also got a cot blanket for when the temps dropped - which it did!

Comments about Kelty Poly/Cotton Blend Hostel Sleep Sack Liner:

I bought the product for an upcoming trip. I thought it would be just the thing for sleeping in a dormitory bunk. The write up said the girth was 68 inches plenty of room for a night in the hot humid rainforest. When it came I was very disappointed the width was only 34 inches so I sent it back. I wish Kelty had done a better job with its write up.

I like it very much, but my husband finds it difficult to get in from the top. Roomy enough for me, but too confining for my husband.

Too heavy and bulky for backpacking, but great to stay in cheap motels, car-camping or staying in primitive cabins.

Comments about Kelty Poly/Cotton Blend Hostel Sleep Sack Liner:

I did not buy this for camping. My wife and I have been trying various ways of staying warm and comfortable in our own beds indoors with the thermostat setback at 60 degrees. In a double bed, whenever one partner turns over or adjusts the covers it lets warm air out and creates drafts. It seemed to us that using a simple sleep sack inside the bed might create a nice snuggly pocket. We basically wanted a sleep sack made of "sheetlike" material. Weight didn't matter, and we did not want it to be compact. So far the experiment seems to be working quite well.
