I am a Scoutmaster in a troop with an active outdoor program. I have been using the Crazy Creek original chair for years, and recommend it to others. Great as a chair, of course, but also to extend the length of your sleeping pad, or as a kneeling pad for such tasks as fire-building. It fits in the upper compartment of my (large) backpack, and I have carried it on backpacking treks.

I ordered this for kayak camping but it was way too bulky. It's nice but not suited for the kayak. I swapped it out for the Crazy Creek Hex 2.0. which is lighter, more compact, and just as comfy. Campmor was great to deal with on the exchange. Thanks!

This chair just withstood 6 days of use and abuse in the boundary waters of northern Minnesota. It was great for using as a paddling chair in the canoe, easy for attaching to our backpacks for portages, was used as a door mat for our tent, and for evenings around the campfire or short stops during the trip. I wish I had 4 instead of 2!

I use it mostly in stadiums watching soccer so not sitting right on the aluminum. Weather is variable and I like that a fleece blanket easily slips in this. Got this for my 75-year-old mom since it is so lightweight. People ALWAYS ask where they can get one.
